2020 fishing tournament

Our second annual Fishing Tournament opens on May 9th, the day of the fishing opener, and will run through ice fishing season ending in February, 2021.

LICA members are invited to submit photos of their prize catches to the fishing commissioner, Tom Blank (tom.blanck@gmail.com). Categories are longest bass, longest walleye and longest esox (northern pike or muskie). Trophies in each category will travel among entrants, with the final winners announced next March.

All LICA members are eligible to submit entries. For more information, contact this year’s fishing commissioner: Tom Blanck (tom.blanck@gmail.com)

Last season's winners included Mac Smith with a 52 inch muskie and Perry Good with a 21.5 inch large mouth bass. There were no entries in the walleye category.

So, get ready, set, FISH!
